Materials that contain asbestos are considered hazardous, especially when damaged or during removal. Asbestos materials can be found in most buildings built prior to 1990 throughout Brisbane and south east Queensland.

Focus Building Inspections can provide asbestos inspections to identify areas of suspected asbestos containing materials and where required or requested we can extract samples for testing at a NATA approved laboratory.

During our inspection we will do a visual inspection of the materials used in the building and provide a report on the areas that are likely to contain suspected asbestos containing materials. We do also recommend sample extraction and laboratory testing to confirm the presence of asbestos.
